Dita999 > Sunday April 20th 2008 ~ Pink Galah - When I was little my fraternal grandparents had a pet one called "Cockie" mean as hell it bit everybody except my Nan unfortunatly my Nan died when I was 3 and Cockie lived another 20 years believe it or not and survived two floods on top of the cupboard just sat there until his owners came back but like I said he was mean so for the years following Nan's death he bit anyone who ever fed him guess no one ever told him about that old saying about not biting the hand that feeds you ... Not sure what it was with my G'parents and mean pets cos they had a dog and there rooster that where all as ferocious as each other (and I was duly terrified off each collecting eggs had me traumatised for years lol) - Anyway thats another story but you won't believe this another day another Dr's appointment it would seem Daniel got over his flu and now has Gastro and Vomitting which I kinda saw coming since my friends littlies had it when I was helping her take care of them the other day ... On the high side he didn't have it all at once he got them separately which seems has been better for him well see you tomorrow
Dita999 > March 25th 2008 ~ You guys have seen the city line where I am from before but here it is again from a different part of town I took this from the Kangaroo Point cliffs in the far right is the Story Bridge which is a magical piece of architecture which I shall bestow upon you tomorrow with one of my rambling captions (Lucky you guys) Ok now I have built up the suspense for tomorrows pic I feel I should shut up ... Dita999 > Wednesday May 28th 2008 ~ Hi don't I have some catch up to play and alas I will BUT where have I been I hear you ask (you better be asking where I've been LOL) well as you all know we said Bye Bye to my camera and I was to buy Mums old SLR well the day old camera went to Rails house Mum was showing me something on the new camera and couldn't beluieve it the knob feel off LUCKILY the camera IS still under warranty so its off to canon but they are very slow here so no camera for 6 weeks SUCKS TO BE ME here we call it Murphy's Law (anything that can go wrong WILL) and that applies to me alot of there is an accident to be had I'll find it - if I decide to do the wrong thing I NEVER get away with it HENCE the fact I don't even botheer with the mischief these days so anyway getting off track Mum was nice enuf to say I could use her big flash Fandangle camera - I tried and to put things simply I was clueless so here is an oldie I will try learn Mums camera so I can put new ones BUT other wise you might have to put up with some ones taken earlier this month This effect was inspired by johnloguk about a week ago anyways I have caught a bug of the foster kids yesterday (more evidence of Murphy's Law told yas I was cursed with it) so pkaying catch up today so see u in a few hours (((((hugs)))))PS just had a look at this again sholuda straightened that horizon hey OOOPS
Dita999 > Sunday 4th May 2008 ~ This is my friend Raeliene she is the single foster Mum with ALL those little kids I go and help 3 times a week she is AMAZING with children they give her children that are difficult and within a week she has them settled in routine and happy She's great I spend 3 days from 6;45am til about 9pm over there because breakfast and Dinner can be the witching hours there all these babies and a toddler hungry at once wanting bottles AND weet-bix ANYWAY it's very early here and Daniel is wanting his .... So this is my very good friend Rails and my Daniel who adores her equally This is one morning at her house :)

Dita999 > Tuesday 29th 2008 ~ Another Day another sunset you guys must be completely over my sunsets by now and this is not a new one this is one of the ones I took yesterday although I did take 200+ pics today but you know the rules about foster kids and displaying them anyhow I got some great shots of the kids and my baby Daniel BUT I personally am slightly less sane than I was at this time yesterday I arrived at my friends at 6:45am and am only just getting home now 9pm... And am going back for more tomorrow the next day and the day after we didn't do the shopping but I had ALL the kids for 3 hours while she mowed the lawn (I almost wish I had have mowed at least it was quieter out there ith the mower) ...But as wild as they are you have to love them they are very damaged BUT very sweet and very loving well trying to There great little kids just rough round the edges BUT so are diamonds see ya tomorrow With somethin different so I don't bore ya all to tears with another sunset
Dita999 > Tuesday 15th April 2008 ~ The aptly named Noisy Minah drinking from the flowers in the umbrella tree down the side (popular hangout .... if your a bird or me armed with a camera) lorikeets drink til there drunk Minahs seem to be able to hold there nectar and don't end up flying dangerously low and hitting windows etc But unlike the lorikeet they are not big on sharing outside of there own kind and don't mind throwing there weight around which can be rather entertaining to watch unless of course you are there target anyway enough from me ... BTW still working on pics from yesterdays sunset storm Hoping to have them uploaded to SmugMug Thursday will let you know Have a lovely Day :)
Dita999 > Friday April 11 2008 ~ I am such a sick sook I am terrified I might just die of flu (it could happen!) anyway enuf of my moaning remember a while ago I told you how these guys drink until they are drunk from the umbrella tree then fly around running into things because of the state they have drunk themselves into ell this is exactly that a rainbow lorikeet drinking from the flowers of the umbrella tree and then I did the bubble effect cos that is how my head feels
Dita999 > Monday May 19th 2008 ~ Another day terrorized by foster kids - lol BUT before I go there My MUMMA HippyfromOz said to let you all know she has NOT left BUT life has been busy (she made me promise not to be dramatic :(} and she has not had a chance to take many photos and Thanks for all her comments she wuill be back in a day or two to upload a daily or two and catch up with your wonderful gallerys' - There aren't I a good daughter Anyway I was with the foster kids from 6:45am yesterday til 8pm Busy Busy day they are ALL busy busy children we got a thumb slammed in a door yesterday many tears and we has a 3 year old girl who was just there for a few days with her lil brother 19mths while there carer had a break because the girl ewas the oldest at 3 and the biggest we had a day like nevber before Railenes Foster kids never fight physically and share etc well this little girl hits and kicks and yells and tells them to shut up and snatches so we spent the day giving her ALOT of time out and wiping a lot of tears from the others anyway as always it was a fulfilling day THANKS to EVERYONE for being so supportive of me and Daniel and mum and our photos it has been a really positive thing for me this project and the interaction with you guys and its only that you have all been so lovely and supportive that made it that so Thanks (CRAP having a random sentimental moment - how tragic of me - sorry) BUT THE POINT WAS THANK YOU ALL for being a great photo community HUGs and see you tommorrow BTW more boats in actual water nice chance from the semi permanent LOW tides we have again HUGS
