Thursday 20th November 2008 ~ I can't stay and write much because we are having yet another severe storm the forth in as many days in fact South East Queensland's in a state of emergency - But we here in this house are fine .... Tired ...But fine (Daniel gets scared of the thunder in the early hours of the morning - Lucky me) Oh I got the fright of my life yesterday I was bringing in the Wheelie bin and moved over the recycling bin to make room for it as I move it I hear a really LOUD hissing and look down to see what I thought was a really BIG brown snakes head just at that exact moment I hear Daniel going "OOOOOOOH" the noise he makes when he sees something he thinks will be fun and what I think is a BIG brown snake is between me and Daniel because he ducked between the bin when I moved them so he is outta my reach so I think how am I going to do this (while my heart is in my chest and I am effectively freaked) just as I am about to climb over the bins which are chest high and believe me when I say that it would have been a sight nobody needed burned into there retina I look at my GIANT BROWN SNAKE only to notice he has a great big fat blue tongue so I peep over the bin and get a view of the WHOLE body not just the head and it had legs my Giant Brown Snake was I big fat Blue tongue lizard that was hissing in fear....So after composing myself and having a bit of a giggle at myself I realise why am I standing here go get your camera Dufus of course by the time i did my new friend was gone hence the fact this is a sunset I took at Coochiemudlo Island on the weekend and not a blue tongue lizard incognito as a brown snake See Ya tomorrow (((((((((HUGS)))))))P.S Just call me Mumma Bird Pee Wee is still with us
