I am trying to improve my photography so I thought this foto a day thing was an excellent idea and opportunity ... My Mum (hippyfromoz) is my photography partner its our shared passion I hope you enjoy my photo's as much as I do and notice an improvement in time ....

Dita999 > Saturday 12th April 2008 ~ Okay I am not dead yet BUT it could still happen but as bad as I feel I still went with Mum and Daniel who is much better but still snuffy to Southbaks these are the paths that run along the outside of Southbank Parklands (more Southbank info in tommorrows) these are quite pretty when they are entirely in bloom they are just amass of purple flowers that seem to be making an arch over your head the wires ar not even slightly visable but since it is Autumn (and cold ... IT IS!) they are pretty sad looking at the moment so when spring comes back round I guess I will have to shoot them again to show you guys You will love them (seriously you will)
Dita999 > Friday April 11 2008 ~ I am such a sick sook I am terrified I might just die of flu (it could happen!) anyway enuf of my moaning remember a while ago I told you how these guys drink until they are drunk from the umbrella tree then fly around running into things because of the state they have drunk themselves into ell this is exactly that a rainbow lorikeet drinking from the flowers of the umbrella tree and then I did the bubble effect cos that is how my head feels
Dita999 > 10th April 2008 ~ This is the same rose I did yesterdsay as it is today amazing what a night will do - As for me Daniel kindly shared his germs and I am now a flu-ridden mess that still has a very sick little boy if he wasn't so cute he'd be on someones doorstep in a box with a note (jokes I would never) hope you like todays effort on yesterdays rose
Dita999 > 9th April 2008 ~ Ok almost caught up I will take todays pic today and I am back on schedual another of Mums roses Daniel is sick AGAIN we have had a change in the weather and Autum is usually not cold hell Winter is usually only cold a week but here we are in Autumn freezing our butts of and Daniel has another cold can't breathe coughing like an old man - Lucky Me - Lucky I love him so much cos otherwise I would have to trade him for a better model well see ya's this arvo so I can catch up properly have a good day PS I will catch up on your pics tonight after D is in bed
Dita999 > 8th April 2008 ~ This is a Australian plant I will have to look up what it is called it is really tall much taller than me and I am a tall girl @ 173cm and its way over my head long bamboo like stalks with white hairy ends This one I used the oil paintting effect on mostly because I was experimenting with the PS
Dita999 > 7th April 2008 ~ 3 little ducks went out one day da da da no serious these 3 were at the park obviously a family Dad in front baby in the middle and Mum up behind they were on the grass when we first got there Dad watching over Mum and Bub foraging but they got sick of me and Mum taking photos and bailed into the water and up the stream this is the last shot I got of them They were a very sweet lil family :)
Dita999 > April 6th 2008 ~ Hi All .... Well it is bucketing down rain and Daniel is being more then a handful so I only got to take 3 pics in a brief 5 min break in the rain and this is one of them ... This is one of the few roses close enough to the house not to land me in the mud I always like the colours in this bush they come up like sunsets BTW I am behind on checking out all your pics I wouldn't miss them, for the world believe me so I will try and catch up tonight after Mr Demanding (who also answers to Daniel) is in bed :)
Dita999 > April 5th 2008 ~ Watching a storm brew over the islands and head our way fast was sunny one minute then it was freezing windy and black all in the space of 3 minutes and just as it got dark and windy this couple arrived at the beach to take THE OLDEST most DERELICT looking boat(and believe me it takes a fair bit to be the most derelict around these parts cos I have a hard time telling the boats in use to the ship wrecks sometimes so it was bad) and start preping it up (which means they pushed it into the water and they didn't look like they were particularly sea or boat handy for that matter so what ever they were doing must have been important cos the kind of storm that was coming over was the kind you don't drive in let alone sail it NUT I tells ya NUTS Til tommorrow here are some boats and the storm clouds heading my way I got some pics where they were darker then this but none of them seemed right post nor did the one of the crazy couple and there shipwreck I mean boat ....
Dita999 > April 4th 2008 ~ Okay forgive me for this foto I had a huge day and didn't pick up the camera til 7pm Every week I do Daniels vegies then stick them in one of those trays like the one on the right which makes them into cubes about the amount of a tablespoon per cube so every day at lunch and dinner I pull out 3 or 4 cubes at dinner I add a cube of mince sometimes and he is a champion little eater I will put more thought into my daily tommorrow Cyas Then
