Dita999 > Tuesday 8th July ~ I have to add 2 today cos I am already behind one day back and already playing catch up nice to know I am at least consistant THIS IS SOOC NOT because I think its a good photo I don't BUT because this is the FIRST TIME i have ever set my camera COMPLETELY MANUALLY like no help from the camera (alright a little help from Mumsy ...not much tho) so I wanted to put it in as it came out so you guys can tell me what you think of my first attempt at exposure is that what its called I am techniqually challenged as well all know so correct me if I am wrong - So be honest tell me what ya'll think (I can take it I swear I won't do any sulking should you be brutal) anyway I have to go see to Daniel and then Decide what to post for todays DP (((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))

Dita999 > Monday July 7th ~ Guess What????? Okay I know it's kinda obvious BUT Guess anyway .... ALRIGHT I won't drag it out ... I am no longer cameraless (insert victory dance here) and for those who like the self portraits todays looks like this :) ..... Well I am not usually one for the mushy stuff but I will have a random act of mushiness just this once (but we will never mention it again OK) I MISSED YOU ALL .... I MISSED THE DAILIES....I MISSED IT ALL...THANK YOU to all the people who emailed me you are all wonderful THANKYOU .... (ok I am done) OHHH and I guess I should fill you in on the bits I have missed - We have a walker (that would be Daniel) well he's more of a stumbler BUT he can do it we will have foto's of that shortly - Unfortunately the poor little bugger is sick again I know whats new but he had been doing well with the whole picking up of bugs thing but he's pretty sick this time I heve never seen so much snot in my life (I know thats kinda gross but I like to give an honest look at my day and honestly thats what it has been all about the past few the wiping of someone elses nose) anyway I am sure thats the note I should probably leave on Except I should probably mention the DP hey Mumsy and I went to Redland Bay yesterday when I got home from my 4 hour mission on Public transport (which is terrible on a Sunday hence the 4 hours)to pick up my camera ... It was completely worth it anyway I will catch up on your galleries tonight after Daniel has gone down for the night so till then HUGS (((((((()))))))) Thank you again ALL of you :)

Dita999 > 14th June 2008 ~ It was Daniels 1st Birthday yesterday BUT he had a playdate/party today he also ate his first piece of watermelon today he was as pleased with that as he was with the whole party he liked it so much he wouldn't give it back when he ran out of the pink stuff and wanted to eat the green as well and there was no convincing him other wise even when I got him another piece he stuill hung on to the old piece for dear life - Well I had to borrow my old camera to take these photos BUT Guess what!?! Betcha Can't ???? My NEW Camera will be back THIS week and I can rejoin the Dailies and return to giving you all a daily caption headache Betcha Can't wait.... Well I know I can't - I might post a few more pics from his party for you all well just as much for me cos I really enjoy the whole DP deal and let me tell you I didn't realise just how much til I was cameraless (thank you Canon- said dripping with sarcasm) and couldn't do it So anyway this week I will be BACK ....YAY 4 ME (insert little victory dance here) anyway since I party photos to post I might be able to get thru til it arrives I know I will try Anyways It is SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD to be back HUGS ((((((())))))

Dita999 > Thursday June 5th 2008 ~ Ok I have a good excuse besides the fact I am cameraless see this sad face :( that is a self portrait of me without a camera My excuse is we got 100ml of rain in 4 days 50 something of those ml we got in one day so since Friday last week this photo and the last one I posted have been the only photos I have had a chance to take and they were taken on the same day on a break in the rain if you can picture this Mumsy and me pull up at the canal decide we don't have the time in the rain break to pull out the pram so Mum carries camera and I carry Daniel thru what I thought was some wet grass I was WRONG It was more MUD than grass I nearly ended up on my BUTT more than once because it was the slippery variety anyway we get to here and I think I got to take 4 photos in rather quick succession while Daniel was wriggling Furiously in Grandma's arms trying with ALL his might to get on the ground and the before mentioned MUD (not gunna happen kid LOL)and it starts to rain again rather suddenly so Mum and I and the camera and the wriggly child have to get across all the slippery to the mud in this rather cold rain I am wearing rather soggy not to mention inappropriate shoes fpr the task and again nearly went over every step I took (hence the fact Mum gave me the baby back and she carried the camera she wasn't risking the camera to me lol) anyway I don't know how but I made it to the car in one piece and if that wasn't enuf of an effort when we got there Mum turns to me and say we have to go get her a daily now - WHAT!!!!! so now that you know how hard I have tried to get a daily - You know I have not given up - But you will have to excuse me if I post a few oldies over the next few days and excuse the crookered (is that how you spell it?) photo but it didn't matter which way we straightened it it looked queer so we left it as it was After all I went thru to get this pic and its UNSTRAIGHTENABLE oh well such is life HUGS

Dita999 > Saturday May 31st 2008 ~ Well 13 days til Daniel turns 1 (1 year in and I have SURVIVED...barely)Okay so I haven't been around NOT for lack of missing you all BUT lack of camera - still at Canon BUT I do have a little news just to prove motherhood has certainly rendered me certifiably INSANE I am starting the process of endless paperwork and training to foster kids MYSELF I will still help Rails with hers infact we were thinking of having a playgroup twice a week as well as our normal visits .... I have had minimal sleep (seems to be the standard of late-THANKYOU DANIEL)so I have another case of brainmush (am starting to wonder if its permanent - lol) so I won't give you one of my rambling captuions BECAUSE apart from the brainmush I have worked out how to use Mumma's camera which means tommorrow I can take some pics which means YUP you guessed it I can FINALLY play some catch up WHICH MEANS ...... UH HUH THATS RIGHT more rambling captions (and more than likely more than one) so I shall give you fairwarning to prepare yourselves and we will meet here tomorrow okay til than I shall try cure my brain mush HUGS ----- Oh yeah the photo right - its taken this morning at Raby Bay (where the rich folk live in Cleveland) on one of the canals they all have jetties in there backyards oh what a life Well see ya's tommorrow I will try catch up with all your galleries tommorrow too

Dita999 > This is not a Daily its for irishmurr and the Albertini's I choose this one beacuse it is BRIGHT, WARM, BEAUTIFUL qualities it shares with that great big family you guys have I just wanted to give you all flowers for your LOVELY gesture THANKYOU SO MUCH and I am completely honoured Thank you especially for letting me peek at all your albums I love your family shots so much you have created one of the GREATEST family units I have ever seen and I think you guys are REALLY SPECIAL THANK YOU ALL again and I look forwards to watching your beautiful family grow as the new additions arrive and share more of those wonderful get togethers you guys have - :) (((((((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Dita999 > Wednesday May 28th 2008 ~ Hi don't I have some catch up to play and alas I will BUT where have I been I hear you ask (you better be asking where I've been LOL) well as you all know we said Bye Bye to my camera and I was to buy Mums old SLR well the day old camera went to Rails house Mum was showing me something on the new camera and couldn't beluieve it the knob feel off LUCKILY the camera IS still under warranty so its off to canon but they are very slow here so no camera for 6 weeks SUCKS TO BE ME here we call it Murphy's Law (anything that can go wrong WILL) and that applies to me alot of there is an accident to be had I'll find it - if I decide to do the wrong thing I NEVER get away with it HENCE the fact I don't even botheer with the mischief these days so anyway getting off track Mum was nice enuf to say I could use her big flash Fandangle camera - I tried and to put things simply I was clueless so here is an oldie I will try learn Mums camera so I can put new ones BUT other wise you might have to put up with some ones taken earlier this month This effect was inspired by johnloguk about a week ago anyways I have caught a bug of the foster kids yesterday (more evidence of Murphy's Law told yas I was cursed with it) so pkaying catch up today so see u in a few hours (((((hugs)))))PS just had a look at this again sholuda straightened that horizon hey OOOPS

Dita999 > Wednesday 21st May 2008 ~ Another Day Another driveway sunset only this is facing a different direction to usual (down the street) Have you ever noticed the sunsets are different in the cooler half of the year to the warmer half i think they are subtler maybe? So obviously I didn't go anywhere today Daniel has me prisoner NO thats not even true I am 5 feet taller than him so I have the advantage of being able to pick him up and dump him in the pram BUT in saying that the mood he jhas been in lately I think twice before long shopping trips or any outing that exceeds an hour (thats how long I can get away with before he gets over being in the pram and wants to argue about not being allowed out to crawl all over the floor) Sleeping has slowly been improving night by night Cling and Whinge - WORSE the only reason I am able to EVEN type this while he is awake is because RAGGS is on and he loves the music on it and the brightly coloured dogs singing it ....Anything for peace :) Anyway I have had my daily vent although I MAY be back later cos I am still a day behind to play catch up (a game I seem to be permenantly playing in all avenues of life lately (((((((HUGS))))))))

Dita999 > Tuesday March 20th 2008 ~ We are saying BYE to my camera it is going to a good home (Raelienes) and this is probably one of the last fotos I will take with it well thats not quite true BUT it is leaving us to Rails at the end of the week so I will take a few more pics with it wheather they end up here who knows BUT THIS ONE IS straight out of the camera I was out the front this arvo while Daniel was at the door crying Mummmy Mummy even tho I was LESS then a foot away from him (YUP its like that at the moment we are very clingy as well as very whingy) and this rose had some lovely light on it so I took a couple of pics TRIED NOT to rush it but was hard when little Mr is having a litter of kittens cos I am not right there within a millimetre of him I can't win anyways Hope you like this one as much as me SOOC how PROUD am I (bursting thats how proud) NOW if I can just get Daniel to do what I think he should or at the least let me go to the toilet ALONE life would be PERFECT
