Dita999 > Little walk way we found of the beaten track it only went for about a hundred metres but you find that a lot in these conservation areas they built one where they don't want you walking new paths through the re-growth projects

Dita999 > Banksia (a newborn I guess is one way of putting it) Australias natives are as beautiful as they are strange

Dita999 > Banksia (senior citerzen) Everytime I see these I think about the Banksia men in May Gibbs "Snuggleot & Cuddlepie" series for those who have not come across them the charactors where based on australian natives Snugglepot and Cuddlepie where gumnut babie very cute theBanksia Men where the bad guys you can see how you can get the evil eyes out of this plant

Dita999 > I found these purple berries everywhere ~ I have nevert ever seen them before nor had mum and even this photo didn't pick up the brilliant puple that was its colour any idea what it is do let me know

Dita999 > This is just a little pool that we came across sadly it was brown and filthy and some people had dumped there rubbish here (it's a regeneration project)
