Monday 14th April 2008 ~ This afternoon we had a storm right on sunset these are the clouds on sunset - just as the moon first became visable just seconds before for the evening - the sky was pink red purple and brilliant orange I got some great pics which I plan on adding a few pics to my home album I will add the link when its done so you can see the amazing beauty I saw this afternoon right from my drive way :) "A Red sky in the morning is a shepherds warning a red sky at night is a shepherds delight" old superstition

I am trying to improve my photography so I thought this foto a day thing was an excellent idea and opportunity ... My Mum (hippyfromoz) is my photography partner its our shared passion I hope you enjoy my photo's as much as I do and notice an improvement in time ....

Jacinda (Dita999) > Wednesday 16th April 2008 ~ Okay this wasn't taken today BUT I have been taking a photo a day but today I got nothin you would wanna see and nothing I would inflict on you in good conscience so with that said here we are with a photo of our only walk bridge over the Brisbane River They call it The Goodwill Bridge I couldn't guess why They have taken the trouble to put in several decks That are un obscured by th design of the bridge that you can stand on and take quite good pics without having half a bridge in your shot quite considerate of them I thought obviously I wasn't standing on one when I took this photo (but I wanted the bridge - thats my story anyway) its actually A LOT bigger than it appears in this pic but this is the major part of the design which I don't find particually attractive But each to there own taste - Again I shall finish my raving here and say seeya tomorrow Til Then Have an excellent day behind your cameras

Jacinda (Dita999) > Tuesday 15th April 2008 ~ The aptly named Noisy Minah drinking from the flowers in the umbrella tree down the side (popular hangout .... if your a bird or me armed with a camera) lorikeets drink til there drunk Minahs seem to be able to hold there nectar and don't end up flying dangerously low and hitting windows etc But unlike the lorikeet they are not big on sharing outside of there own kind and don't mind throwing there weight around which can be rather entertaining to watch unless of course you are there target anyway enough from me ... BTW still working on pics from yesterdays sunset storm Hoping to have them uploaded to SmugMug Thursday will let you know Have a lovely Day :)

Jacinda (Dita999) > Sunday 13th April 2008 ~ Another City view from a different part of town this is taken from Southbank Parklands the place where they held Expo 88 there is a walk along the river front where this was taken there are man made beaches (ugly but HUGELY popular) and lagoons markets resturaunts you name it its there all the swimming and gardens are free there are lots of street preformances and bands most days those are free to the markets are pretty good but they are always packed but It can be a good day out there are So Daniel had his first train ride yesterday he was most impressed on the way in by the way home he was over it but so was Mum and I

Jacinda (Dita999) > Saturday 12th April 2008 ~ Okay I am not dead yet BUT it could still happen but as bad as I feel I still went with Mum and Daniel who is much better but still snuffy to Southbaks these are the paths that run along the outside of Southbank Parklands (more Southbank info in tommorrows) these are quite pretty when they are entirely in bloom they are just amass of purple flowers that seem to be making an arch over your head the wires ar not even slightly visable but since it is Autumn (and cold ... IT IS!) they are pretty sad looking at the moment so when spring comes back round I guess I will have to shoot them again to show you guys You will love them (seriously you will)

Jacinda (Dita999) > Friday April 11 2008 ~ I am such a sick sook I am terrified I might just die of flu (it could happen!) anyway enuf of my moaning remember a while ago I told you how these guys drink until they are drunk from the umbrella tree then fly around running into things because of the state they have drunk themselves into ell this is exactly that a rainbow lorikeet drinking from the flowers of the umbrella tree and then I did the bubble effect cos that is how my head feels

Jacinda (Dita999) > 9th April 2008 ~ Ok almost caught up I will take todays pic today and I am back on schedual another of Mums roses Daniel is sick AGAIN we have had a change in the weather and Autum is usually not cold hell Winter is usually only cold a week but here we are in Autumn freezing our butts of and Daniel has another cold can't breathe coughing like an old man - Lucky Me - Lucky I love him so much cos otherwise I would have to trade him for a better model well see ya's this arvo so I can catch up properly have a good day PS I will catch up on your pics tonight after D is in bed
